I was disappointed with this course. I enrolled expecting to learn about U.S. history as a whole, but the majority of the course focused on African American history and slavery. While these are important parts of American history and deserve coverage, they seemed to make up most of the curriculum.
I would have preferred a more balanced course that covered a wider range of topics, including major wars, presidents, westward expansion, industrialization, immigration, economic development, foreign policy, and other significant events that shaped the United States.
The course title suggested a broad survey of U.S. history, but the content felt much narrower than expected. I believe the course would be improved by providing more comprehensive coverage of American history overall.

I know it is an English course, but oh my gosh!! To see i need 6-7 pages makes my anxiety drive up, but I love getting my point across so it worked out.

Course is fairly easy if you already work in the IT industry. Only thing that might throw you off a bit is the touchstone. But in general easy for IT people. I did it in about 5-6hours total reading and touchstone.
